Aldergrove P.S. was officially opened in 1987. In 2000, a six-room addition was built and the lunchroom was converted into two classrooms and a tutorial area. Now there are also four portable classrooms. The school facilities also include a gym with a stage, a library, a computer lab, a music classroom with practice rooms, an art room with a kiln, and a science lab.
