Ahla is a village and Union Council

Village Ahla has a Government High School for Boys, Government Middle School for Girls and a few private schools of different levels.

), Kahuts/Kahoots/Koots,chadher(IRFAN CHADHER) mostly in toheed abad near Railway station, Gondals, Ranjhas, Sapras, Basraas, Dudds, Matmals, Mairs, Bhattis, Raans, many immigrants from East Punjab and beyond. Main occupations are agriculture and trading.
Important personality of the area is Chaudary Ghulam Ali koot/kahut of Ahla. He is a nice political and social personality of the area. He has been elected as Chairman District council four times and member union council Ahla. He is well known to judge and solve the disputes of people. The land of Ahla stretches from the confines of Jalalpur Sharif in the north to the boundaries of Sohawas and Chimmon in the south. In the other direction, it touches village Maajhi in the west and Bagga village in the east. Its land is almost 2625 acres (1,062.3 ha).
