Sinclair has also won accolades and medals as an athlete in the triple jump, high jump and long distance running events. He got engaged to his sweetheart Vyshali Nair on May 6, 2011.
There was an accusation made against Adam Sinclair stating that he got into the Indian Hockey Team at the 2004 Athens Olympics by convincing an official to improperly use his clout. This accusation, which was made by Dhanraj Pillay
