A New Era is a centrist political party
of Venezuela
arising from the Third Way
tradition. It is the largest party in Venezuela's fractured opposition, earning 11% of the vote in the 2008 gubernatorial elections. The party arose in Zulia State, and remains far stronger in its home region than elsewhere in the country.
