ACX Pacific Northwest is a major leading American
exporter of hay, forage, and roughage products to Asia
and the Middle East
. They are the only United States-based exporter with state-of-the-art hay processing and storage facilities in all major growing regions of the Western United States. Hay processing facilities are located in Ellensburg, WA; Wasco, CA; and Wilmington, CA just outside the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach. ACX pioneered the export hay
form of processing (often referred to as double compression) that allows forage and roughage exporters to inspect and package the hay prior to shipping.
In October 2008, ACX sold a straw processing plant, that they had owned and operated in Albany
