The 252nd Indian Armoured Brigade was an armoured formation of the Indian Army during World War II.
It was formed as the 3rd Indian Cavalry Brigade
in September 1939, and then when mechanized renamed the 2nd Indian Armoured Brigade in February 1940, and finally the 252nd in January 1942, when it was attached to the 10th Indian Infantry Division. Thereafter it served with the 31st Indian Armoured Division
in the Middle East until being disbanded in August 1945.
