The 2010–11 season was the 89th season in York City F.C.'s history, their seventh in the Football Conference
and 83rd in the league system of English football
. Their fifth place finish in the 2009–10 season meant it was their seventh successive season in the Conference National

Jonathan Smith and Rankine scored as York won 2–1 at Hayes.
