The 2010 NCAA Division I baseball season began on February 19, 2010, and concluded with the 2010 College World Series
. The South Carolina Gamecocks
won the CWS, its first ever men's national title in any sport.

(47–11) finished #1 in the Baseball America poll. Preseason #1 Texas stumbled to an 0–3 Big 12 Tournament record to drop to #3 in both final polls. South Carolina finished the season as a unanimous #1 after winning its first College World Series.
Atlantic Sun Conference champions Mercer
earned their first appearance in the NCAA Tournament while New Mexico
earned their first appearance since 1962.
. The South Carolina Gamecocks beat the UCLA Bruins 2 games to 0 in the best-of-three final to win the tournament. The College World Series was the 61st and final tournament held at Rosenblatt Stadium; starting in 2011, games will be played at TD Ameritrade Park Omaha. The following teams qualified for the CWS:
