 on April 19, 2010. At least 25 people died. The blast, which happened in Qissa Khawani market, killed Dost Muhammad, who was the local leader of Jamaat-e-Islami

. The attack happened at about 6:30 PM local time. The attack also appeared to target a senior police officer Gulfat Hussein a shia. The government declared three days of mourning after the bombing.
