I CAN NOT JUDGE PEOPLE HAT GET ABORTIONS BUT PEOPLE NEED TO THINK TWICE BEFORE EVEN WANTING TO GO TO THE DOCTOR TO GET AN ABORTION.....PEOPLE PLEASE THINK BEFORE DOING.:)

A lot of times its for the babies best. If you think bringing a baby into a horrible world, or into a situatiion where the parent(s) cant support it then in my idea thats worst then having one. And for people who are against it need to have a newsflash, and are just as stupid as pro-lifers

I got an abortion a year and a half ago. I am an educated nursing student at NYU with a fulfilling life. I have a great relationship with my boyfriend of 3 years. We got pregnant when I was 19 while I was using an IUD for protection. If you have heard of this type of pregnancy it is very risky for both mother and embryo. Anyways, long story short I decided to get a medical abortion at 9 weeks of gestation. The main reason I decided this was because I wasn't ready for such a responsibility. For me, the controversy surrounding abortion comes down to physical harm. I researched a lot of info about the development of the embryo and found out that the fetus cannot feel any sensations until about the 22nd week of gestation. The nerve endings are not functioning until that time. That being considered, you are really not harming the fetus. I would have rather not have to make this decision, but I have no regrets. Maybe looking at this from a
Medical standpoint will give you a different perception.
