He drank every night, loved his horse, some believe more than man and was brilliant strategist because he was tutored by Aristotle. He was not crazy. He was inspirational because he was intelligent and it showed so people followed him.

And so were GWB and Reagan inspirational, so people folloed them.

Perhaps Hitler and Mussolini are more apposite.

Both murdering psychopathic bastards who inspired mass slaughter, just like Alexander did, with his mad ambitions to conquer the then-known 'world'.

Do not confute being intelligent and sane.

The very 'best' everyday psychopaths - the most intelligent - get away with serial killings for years ... some might even love their horses, dogs, or whatever.

Alexander was, along with others since, just a psychopath on a more massive scale that "everyday psychopaths".

Interesting that you and many others actually admire such a travesty.

Its not wether he was wrong or right - He made his mark on history and it is our job to study it before making assumptions about levels of psychopathy. These are the people that shaped our world - some voted in by democracy - so they represented the thoughts of many. History and the survival of nations does not depend on your 20th century values but must be viewed in context of the societies and ways of life of the time. Interesting that you and others reach such meaningless interpretations -study further and look for the truth before you end up in the lynch mob psychology and become what you disdain

Ummm.......... Ok. Can anyone translate this incoherent, babbling, silly, hysterical, badly worded, badly spelt, irrational, ignorant, simplistic, immature, outrageous rant into a somewhat SANE statement?

On second thought, don't waste your time.
