Hello. we've done a cephalocaudal assessment in our nursing class. i found out that my pupils are somewhat extraordinary...i don't want to call it abnormal. based on my classmates' assessment, when light is shone on my eyes the pupils constrict for a while, then suddenly dilates. At first i wouldn't believe her so i assessed myself. I realized she was right. My pupils indeed constrict and immediately dilate in the presence of light. I also discovered that the nearer the light gets, the more they dilate. is something wrong with my eyes? or is this indicative of a neurologic defect? I'm looking forward to your response. thank you.
