Biography

Đorđe Ðogani was born in Belgrade

, together with four brothers and four sisters. An active sportsman in his youth, Ðole was member of AK Crvena Zvezda (Red Star Track & Field Club) from 1976 to 1985, even representing SFR Yugoslavia internationally.

Later he changed his name to Đorđe, according to his nickname derived from his surname, "Đole". At the same time, he also changed his last name from Ðogaj to Ðogani.
