. The village's only inhabitants are locals, other than visitors during the summer holidays. Several inhabitants call this village Zoriano.

The climate is very mild even during the winter. Many of the houses in the village reminds of the ideal architecture in which it preserves and pre-revolutionary businesses. The village also features a folklore museum and a neighboring forest with chestnuts.

, many of the buildings were rebuilt. Houses were stone-built until the 1950s and did not surpass modern-style homes until the 1980s. Streets were linked with pavement in the 1980s. Today, most of the homes are abandoned.
