Club career

Zhu Jianrong would start his professional football career with Qingdao Jonoon where he made his senior club debut on March 23, 2009 in a league match against Hangzhou Greentown, but his team lost 1-2. Throughout the season he would often be used as substitute, however the following season Zhu would prove his worth towards the team when he scored his debut goal for the club on April 17, 2010 against Liaoning Whowin in a league game that ended in a 3-3 draw.
