Club career

Zheng Long would start his professional football career in the 2006 league season after he graduated from the Qingdao youth team, he would eventually make his debut the following season against Zhejiang Lvcheng on the 3rd of March 2007 where they drew 1-1. Throughout the season he would steadily establish himself within the Qingdao Jonoon team by playing in 20 league games, however it was in the 2008 league season that saw Zheng Long establish himself as a prominent left sided player of the court and an expert free-kicker within the team when he helped Qingdao Jonoon with 5 goals in 27 appearances.
