Zhejiang Jonway Automobile Co., Ltd. is a Chinese
automobile manufacturer based in Taizhou city in Zhejiang province. Zhejiang Jonway Automobile Co., Ltd. is the subsidiary of Jonway Group, founded in the 1980s. Started the production of automobiles in 2005 under their brand name Jonway.
In July 2010, the US Electric Vehicle company ZAP
bought 51% of Zhejiang Jonway Automobile Co., Ltd. creating ZAP Jonway joint venture. The first model to roll out of ZAP Jonway is reportedly to be the SUV A380 EV.
