. He lived in Karlovy Vary for most of his life. His father works in a spa in one of the many hotels and his mother (an indigenous Russian) teaches Russian at a local school. He also has an older brother named Svatoslav.

Life

Zbyněk was talented, especially when it came to music and sports. His parents didn't lead him to music; but because of his talent, he enlisted in various competitions on his own initiative and even signed up for a singing class in a local art school. He was also very active in athletics. He took karate

for nearly nine years and he became a life-guard because of his swimming ability. In September 2007, he took his final examination at his economic lyceum. He couldn't do it in May because he was already fully involved in "the madness of show-business" and he didn't have enough time to study. By this time, he was living at his temporary address in the center of Prague and he was still trying to gain a stable place in Czech music. Despite his high-pressure time schedule, he's currently starting to study at the Financial and Administrative University in Prague (VŠFS).
Zbyněk's musical style is not, as he says himself, strictly specified, but his voice is definitely not made for hard rock or metal. He experiments with pop and pop-rock, swing, jazz, ballads and other genres.
He is currently working on his second album. It's supposed to be mainly pop-rock, following the similar style as his first album. He also joined the sport club "Real Top Prague" which is a team of famous people who play various kinds of sports, generally for charity.

Music

Although he began singing during his childhood, he only became famous during the third season of "Česko hledá SuperStar", the Czech version of Pop Idol

. His friends wanted him to try out for the second season, but he decided to wait until he was sure of himself. Despite bad tongues, he won the third season. After his victory on December 17, 2006, he started to give interviews, found a band and recorded his first CD named "Pohled do očí". It was released in April 2007 and sold well. Right after the CD came out, he started to sing at concerts with his band.
Zbyněk ended the cooperation with his original band in June 2008, and found himself a new band which is more experienced and can help further his career.
