. The city elects six councilmen, each serving four year terms. Council seats 1, 3, 5 were last elected in 2007 including the Mayor who can be elected up to two times, and seats 2, 4, 6 were last elected in 2009 including an at large member which is called the City Counil president which has no term limits, also serves for four years at a time, and is a voting member. Regular meetings are held every tuesday of the month, with extra meetings to be held other days, if planned. The city is largest in Westchester County, New York
