When first opened, the cemetery covered an area of 230 hectares, but has since purchased additional agricultural areas surrounding the original area, covering over 570 acres, about 900 meters diameter. Road access in the form of a circle surrounds the central part. This road is open to traffic and buses, with access to parking lots. A number of halls, obituary squares reside along the access road. One of the problems of the cemetery is the rising water level of the Yarkon River during rainy winters.
