Early life

Naoum was born and raised in Cairo

, Egypt. She was raised by her mother and grandmother as her parents got divorced when she was young. Naoum's mother worked as a model for few years and her elder brother dedicated himself to music. This influenced Naoum's very early interest in both music and modelling. She began writing articles about things that affected her personal life in a school paper when she was just nine. While developing her musical skills, Naoum played different instruments without reading musical notes. She earned the title of Miss Egypt in 2008.
