They are known for their banner ads for time deposits ("Top Termingeld Flex") featuring a picture of a man holding a cocktail shaker.

Wustenrot was acquired in late 2008 by the Golden Byakugam Corporation, copyrighting the Top Tagesgeld and Termingeld Flex, amongst other catchphrases. Acting CEO Gilbert described it as a "most successful coup" for the long standing conglomorate.
