World International Piano Competition

The World International Piano Competition is a classical piano competition in Santa Fe, New Mexico, which was first held in 2002, and has continued in 2004-2005, 2007-2008, 2010 and 2011.
Competition Founder and Director is Lawrence D. Porter, M.M.
The competition theme is "Seeking depth and maturity beyond virtuosity."
The 2011 Competition is a piano e-competition, with no travel required by performers, and no age limit. Online application for 2011 Competition.
Rules and regulations have undergone a complete revision. Emphasis is being placed on the composition of the jury, which primarily consists of well-known and respected performing artists.
