In 2007, 70% of students achieved 5 GCSEs grades A*-C, making Wood Green the third most successful secondary school in Oxfordshire.
In 2010, after the introduction of the new A* grade availaible at A level, 12 sixth form students achieved 3 or more A*/A grades.

Academics
Catering for ages 11–18, the school hosts approximately 1200 students (of which just over 200 are in the VI form (16-18)) each year. Sixth form
In early 2006, they completed the build of their new Sixth Form centre and restaurant, in what is now a modern building, with the VI centre located upstairs. The school has finished the process of developing a new textiles room as well as a music recording studio and a new changing room for physical education.
