Brief Plot Synopsis

Witness is unique in that it is written in the form of a series of monologues by different characters, differently affected by the same series of actions.

The plot is based around how a town is affected once the Ku Klux Klan has moved in.

The main characters are Leonora Sutter, Ester Hirsh, Merlin, Johnny Reeves, Sara Chickering, Iris Weaver, and Viola and Harvey Pettibone. Each character experiences conflicts in their lives, regarding race and/or religion.
