The Wisconsin Towns Association (WTA) is an organization which represents the interests of Wisconsin's 1,259 towns and the 1.7 million people who live in them. They are a non-profit and non-partisan association. It was created in 1947 under s.60.23(14) of the Wisconsin Statutes. It is separated into six districts, but is based out of Shawano, Wisconsin
