Route 57 is a major arterial road located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. It connects the suburbs of St. James and St. Boniface with the city's West End
and the downtown core
.
The route begins on Dublin Avenue in the St. James Industrial Area of the city's northwest. It travels eastbound on Dublin Street and Notre Dame Avenue until reaching Sherbrook Street, at which point it splits into two roads, Notre Dame Avenue (westbound) and Cumberland Avenue (eastbound). It then passes through the Exchange District
and is briefly multiplexed with Portage Avenue before joining Pioneer Avenue (westbound) and Water Avenue (eastbound) for one block and crossing the Provencher Bridge. Route 57 then continues eastbound as Provencher Boulevard through Old St. Boniface and over the Seine River
until it ends at Archibald Street.
Dublin Street is named after the capital of Ireland
