History

Facilities

The infrastructure of WHS, has been developed over 90 years.
The latest addition to the school is the new indoor heated swimming pool.
Windhoek High School has large classrooms which is conducive for a productive teaching environment, a school hall where nearly 800 people can be seated, a state of the art computer centre, three science laborites, a modern media centre, an art classroom and fully equipped home economics classroom. It also has a word-processing centre, a cafeteria and a big stadium called vegkop.

Windhoek High School also has three rugby fields, four tennis courts, a soccer field, two hockey fields, four netball courts, a 300 square meter gymnasium, a basketball and volleyball court. WHS has always been known to have outstanding success in sport.
