The garden's board was established in 2001. As of Autumn 2008, the garden itself occupies a site (the Ellipse Garden in Freedom Park, at 5535 Centerville Road) as its board attempts to secure a second, larger location. The intent is to utilize both locations simultaneously, each according to its terrain and soil qualities.
