. It was expanded in 2002 and now features 80000 square feet (7,432.2 m²) of columnless exhibit space (divided into three halls) with seating for up to 8,000 people. The convention center also has three lobbies totalling 38300 square feet (3,558.2 m²), including a 23000 square feet (2,136.8 m²) main lobby, plus 14900 square feet (1,384.3 m²) of meeting space. Williams Convention Center's ceiling height is 28 feet (9 m); the center has excellent acoustics for many conventions
