Encyclopedia
William Nugent Glascock (1787–1847) was a novelist. He saw a good deal of
service in the navy with credit, and from this drew the inspiration of
his vigorous and breezy sea-stories, which include Sailors and Saints
(1829), Tales of a Tar (1836), and Land Sharks and Sea Gulls (1838).
