Will Ryman is an artist who creates figurative art, including larger than life urban sculptures that range from 4 to 20 feet tall. Ryman’s work has been featured at: P.S.1 Contemporary Art Center, Marlborough Gallery, Klemens Gasser & Tanja Grunert Inc., The Saatchi Gallery, Galerie Bernd Kluser, and Paul Kasmin Gallery.
Ryman’s artwork is currently displayed in New York City
on the Park Avenue Mall between 57th and 67th Streets. The installation is presented by The Fund for Park Avenue Sculpture Committee and New York City's Department of Parks and Recreation.

Internationally, Ryman’s art installations have been in The Saatchi Gallery in England, and Galerie Bernd Kluser in Germany.

Some of his well known installations include “The Bed,” made from papier-mâché, where a giant man reclines in a dreamy world, spanning over 8 meters, and is currently in the Saatchi Collection. His other popular piece “A New Beginning,” features thirty-nine sculptures depicting over one hundred large roses with garden detritus such as bottle caps, crushed cans and bubble¬gum wrappers, with a distortion of scale that reflects a rodent’s view of a New York City rose garden. "A New Beginning" was shown at the Marlborough Gallery.
His 96 x 180 x 330 inch installation of “The Bed” was included in the 2009 exhibition The Shape of Things to Come at the Saatchi Gallery, London.
His work is held in the collection of the Farnsworth Art Museum and Colby College Museum of Art, and also the Martin Z. Margulies Collection and the Herbert F. Johnson Museum of Art, Cornell University, NY.
Ryman’s first public art exhibition is currently installed on Park Avenue Mall between 57th and 67th Streets until May 31, 2011. “The Roses” include 38 blossom sculptures, as well as 20 individual rose-petal sculptures. This installation is presented by The Fund for Park Avenue Sculpture Committee and New York City's Department of Parks and Recreation.

Life and Work
Ryman was a longtime playwright prior to becoming an artist. In 2001, his first sculpture was based on a character from a play that he wrote. He has devoted himself exclusively to sculpture since 2002 and has held various solo exhibitions to date.His art has been featured at 7 World Trade Center, Marlborough Gallery, Klemens Gasser & Tanja Grunert Inc. in New York, as well as at Howard House in Washington.

Exhibitions
In 2004, Ryman had his first solo exhibition at Klemens Gasser & Tanja Grunert in New York.
