The title of the album is derived from the NES
game Castlevania II: Simon's Quest
; during the in-game transition from day to night, the quoted line would appear in a text box.
Despite the name of the demo, the song "What a Horrible Night to Have a Curse" is not included on this release. The song wasn't recorded until the band's 2007 album Nocturnal
. "Burning The Hive" is also featured on the next The Black Dahlia Murder release, an EP titled A Cold-Blooded Epitaph
