The village sits within a designated area of outstanding natural beauty. The old way out inn pub is now a thriving tea shop and the hamlet sits within orchard filled countryside and is very close to Canterbury and the Coast. Westmarsh is a quiet hamlet with a close community and is a wonderful place for children to grow up.
The 'Way Out Inn' was previously 'The Rose Inn' and Reg and Pat Sinden were the landlords. Mr & Mrs Hoare took over as landlords prior to the Inn closing down.
