History

The town of Westhampton Beach was incorporated in 1928. In the mid-1990s, 15 historic house were relocated by the Army Corps of Engineers with the help and expertise of Dawn House & Building Movers. The homes were moved off of a beach and out of harm's way. The town of Westhampton Beach has it's own police and fire departments.
