Lexington is the second-largest city in Kentucky and the 63rd largest in the US. Known as the "Thoroughbred City" and the "Horse Capital of the World", it is located in the heart of Kentucky's Bluegrass region...

. Completed in the spring of 1985 for $5 million by Lexington developer West Vine Properties, the tower is adjacent to the First Federal Savings and Loan Association structure. It includes two-levels of parking with entrances off Vine and South Limestone streets. The building features silver-reflected glass with a polished granite facade and a two-story granite lobby.

Construction began on September 4 after three two-story buildings were demolished from 139 to 151 South Limestone. The former Zeppelin Super Gourmet Sub Shop, now a Mexican restaurant at the corner of South Limestone and West Vine streets, was not part of the development plans; it remains there engulfed on all sides by the two streets and the office structure.
