Song information

Some tracks were co-written by Revolution member Bobby Z., and Wendy's twin, extended Revolution member, Susannah. Most of the lyrics are based on personal experiences of Coleman and/or Melvoin.
  • "Honeymoon Express" is about both reaching out to a lover who needs reassurance .
  • "Waterfall" is about Wendy and Lisa's hope that their friendship with Prince would continue despite the breakup of the Revolution It was released as a single and peaked at #56 in the US and #66 in the UK. A re-mixed version was released in the UK in 1989 and peaked at #69.
  • "Song About" also references the break-up of The Revolution with the line "So strange that no one stayed at the end of the parade" (Parade was the last official appearance of The Revolution on an album).
  • "Chance to Grow" tells of twisted departures with The Revolution, however a sparked friendship .
