Currently, the company has two fourth generation family members involved as executives helping to manage day-to-day operations, and three fourth generation family members serving on the board of directors. Welch Allyn produces 90% of the medical diagnostic equipment sold in the United States.

Fortune Magazine named Welch Allyn to its list of the 100 Best Companies to Work For in 2003.
