) lie on floodplain alluvium, much of the town is built directly upon Jurassic, Triassic, and Permian period sedimentary bedrock. This includes Webb Hill. At its highest point, the hill reaches 3120 feet (951 m) in elevation. It is 1.3 miles (2 km) in length from east to west, and 0.5 mile (0.80467 km) in length from north to south.

Given these stations are translators and lower power stations, their coverage of the region is limited. Full power stations in St. George transmit from a different mountain located 17 miles south of town. They broadcast from a mountain known as Seegmiller Mountain, located in Arizona.
