The Web Journal of Current Legal Issues is a peer reviewed academic legal periodical published online since 17 March, 1995. It was the first online open access academic law journal in the United Kingdom. The focus of the Journal is on current legal issues in judicial decisions, law reform, legislation, legal research, policy related socio-legal research, legal information, information technology and practice.

Web JCLI is published five times a year at Newcastle University. The Journal was associated with Blackstone Press Ltd from its inception in 1995 until 2001.
