  • In the 2007 Valley League Baseball Playoffs, the Generals received the Number 1 seed and won the Valley League Baseball Pennant for being regular season champions.     in the championship round. Waynesboro finished 30-14 in 2008 and won the South Division by 6 games, but failed to defend its title. In January 2009, the team was sold by longtime owner Jim Critzer to an ownership group consisting of Jerry Carter and John Leonard.
