area, emulating multiple styles but focusing on rhythm and blues

In the late 70's, Nelson moved to Los Angeles
and worked with artists including Kenny Loggins
and Jim Messina. While in Messina's band and opening for Little River Band, LRB's management invited Nelson to join the famed Australian band and he officially became a member in April 1980.
