Wartislaw VI, Duke of Pomerania

Wartislaw VI of Pomarania (1345 – 13 June 1394, Klępino Białogardzkie) was the eldest son of the Duke Barnim IV
of Pomerania-Wolgast-Rügen.
After the death of his father Barnim IV in 1365, Pomerania-Wolgast was divided in the 1372 Treaty of Anklam
into the eastern Duchy of Pomerania-Stolp (from the Swine River to the Leba River
) and the western duchies of Pomerania-Wolgast and Pomerania-Barth. Wartislaw VI took over the Pomerania-Barth
in 1377, and after the death of his brother Bogislaw VI, Duke of Pomerania
in 1396, he also ruled the Duchy of Pomerania-Wolgast.
He married Anne of Mecklenburg-Stargard, the daughter of the Duke John I
of Mecklenburg-Stargard. They had three children:
