) requires the ball to be hit to the floor before hitting the wall. Unlike Chinese handball, after the ball has bounced more than once, the closest person to the ball is 'out' in an elimination style game. There is no order to who hits the ball (just the closest person) though the previous player to the ball can not hit it again (or touch it) until after another player has. The game is generally played with a Spalding

balls created in 1949.

How to Play

Players gather around a wall, and a player serves the ball. The server is the person who found the ball, or the winner of the previous wallball game. The ball must be hit against the ground, bounce ONCE (no more or less) and hit the wall. It can be returned by any other player that is not the person that previously hit it either before it bounces, or after no more than one bounce. If the ball bounces two times or more, the nearest player (excluding its previous shot player) is out. If you hit the ball and it bounces two or more times before hitting the wall you are out, and if you hit the ball, and you accidentally get hit by the ball after you hit, this is called a "self-inner" and you are also out.

Objective of the Game

The objective of wallball is to eliminate all other players, to be the last player standing.
