 for the Penrith Panthers, Graham was called up to the first-grade squad and finished up playing 8 NRL games for the season. Graham continued to play at five-eighth regularly for the Panthers until the end of the 2009 NRL season. Whilst playing 12 games in 2010 for the Panthers, the preference for the halfs combinations of Travis Burns and Luke Walsh by the Penrith coach limited the number of games he could have played. As a result of Graham's desire to play regular first-grade football he signed with the Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks starting in the 2011 season.

Wade attended The Hills Sports High School in Seven Hills.
