History

The station was broadcasting as WJCD as early as the 1960s. It was part of an AM/FM combo with WJCD-FM broadcasting at 93.7MHz. It was re-assigned the call letters WJCD on February 15, 1990. On May 24, 1991, the station changed its call sign to the current WZZB.
On July 27, 2006 the station was sold to Susquehanna and on January 11, 2008 the station was sold to Midnight Hour Broadcasting.
