 in the middle of May, 1997. There were several format adjustments from classic rock to active rock and back, due to low ratings. The station got permission from the FCC to move to a new frequency (it originally was on 92.3) and increase its power from the original 860 watts it was broadcasting with, to the present 6,000 watts. This change was made effective Friday, January 12, 2007 at 4pm.
