WY Quality Counts! is one of the several programs administered by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. It officially started in August 2007. This program is a part of the Business Training and Outreach Division at Workforce Services. It is focused on delivering services to provide awareness and training on why the quality of early childhood education and child care does count for Wyoming's children, parents and future.

The Wyoming Department of Workforce Services joins Wyoming parents as well as Wyoming child care providers and their staff in the belief that awareness and training will raise the quality of early childhood education and child care in the state. WY Quality Counts! will provide information for parents so that they can fulfill their role as their child's first and most important teacher, as well as training opportunities for child care providers and their staff so that they can offer Wyoming's children the best care possible based on universal best practices.
