Programming

WUMS programming consists of top 40 music. The original format of WUMS was a mixture between Hot AC and Rock music

 until August 2011 when the station changed the format to completely top 40. Alongside the new change came a new brand, complete with new logos and slogan.

DJ's

The station hires new student DJ's every semester. Each student can bring in his/her own feel to their hour (or two), while still fitting in the top 40 format. Students must be enrolled in 12 hours at the University of Mississippi
