History

During the 1960s and early seventies, this station had been country music formatted WTID-AM. In the late 60s and early 70s, the station simulcasted with its FM sister station at 104.5, WTID-FM. In 1973, WTID-FM became Top 40 WQRK (it is now separately owned Top 40 WNVZ)

In the late 70s, the station became jazz oriented as WTJZ, in the eighties it became Gospel.
